Cripsy Chicken Drumsticks

Cooking time:  15 minutes

Serves: 6-8

Recommended with: Tomato Ketchup

Complexity: Novice

  1. Chicken drumstick 10
  2. Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  3. Chilly powder –  1 tablespoon
  4. Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  5. Corianderpd –  1 tsp
  6. Garam masala – 1 tsp
  7. Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Breadcrumbs
  10. Eggs – 2

Marinate the chicken with the above ingredients 1 to 8 for 10 minutes. Cook it in a nonstick vessel till all the water evaporates. Allow to cool.

Beat the eggs and dip the chicken drumsticks, then roll it in the bread crumbs. Deep fry till golden brown.

Garnish with onion rings and lemon wedges.

Chicken Schezwan Style (Chinese)

Chicken in Schezwan Sauce

Preparation of Chicken

Ingredients:

500gm – boneless chicken cubes

4 tbsp – Maida

2 tbsp – corn flour

1 tsp – ginger garlic paste

1 tsp – chill powder

1 – egg

1 tbsp – soy sauce

Salt to taste

Method

1.       Mix all the ingredients with chicken and deep fry till its golden brown.

Preparation of Shezwan sauce

Ingredients:

3 tbsp – Chill oil

1 tsp – Ginger chopped

1 tbsp – Garlic chopped

2 – Dry red chilly (cut  it into 4 pieces)

1 tsp – Sesame seed

¼ cup –  spring  onion (Slanted cut)

1 tbsp – Red chili paste

1 – Chicken cube (maggi)

1 – cup water

1/3 cup  – Tomato sauce

1 tbsp – Soy sauce

1 tsp – Chilly sauce

1 tbsp – Vinegar

1 tsp – Sugar

1/2tsp – Black pepper

2 tbsp – corn flour

1/4cup – Water

Salt to taste

Final Method

1.       Heat chilly oil and add the chopped ginger, garlic, red chilies, sesame seeds and spring onion.

2.       Stir on high heat for 1 min

3.       Add chili paste.

4.       Add the remaining ingredients except corn flour and bring to a boil.

5.       Then add the chicken and mix well and cook on low flame while covered for 4 mins approx.

6.       Then add corn flour paste (quarter cup water plus 2 tbsp corn flour) till the sauce becomes glossy.

7.       Garnish with spring onions.
